MYHH: The Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal

My knowledge of the Taj Mahal is very limited. BUT, according to the book, the Taj Mahal was commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a shrine for his wife. Aside from the fact that it’s considered to be one of the Wonders of the World, it’s also been described as a “teardrop on the cheek of time”. How poetic right? Furthermore, it’s also viewed as a symbol of eternal love. *SIGH* And that symmetry! The OC in me is so very pleased. HAHA!

P.S.: I’ve never actually SEEN the Taj Mahal in person. My memories of it mainly consists of pictures and dioramas. HAHA! I do hope to see her in person one day though. :)
