January 15, 2015
Martin Luther King day is celebrated on the third Monday of January so as to have the date closer to his birthday, which coincidentally, is today also. However, if we were to follow the “third Monday rule”, Martin Luther King Day would be on the 19th.
Aside from the fact that he championed African-American rights, I don’t know much about Martin Luther King. I’m not much of a history buff, you see.
I even had to google the appropriate term to use in my earlier statement. Historical fiction, baka pwede pa. HAHA!
Anyway, if there’s anything to be learned from today’s entry (for me, at least), it’s that perseverance and determination are the keys to success. And that, God willing, you will get what you deserve. :)
